يعد أيام من إعلانها التوقف عن المشاركة في المباريات، أنس جابر بطلة تونس للتنس تعلن ظهر اليوم الخميس عن إطلاق حملة #ServeForGaza، لدعم وجمع التبرعات لصالح المدنيين في غزة فلسطين.
و وفق تنس24
“أماندا أنيسيموفا وباولا بادوسا كانتا من أوائل اللاعبات اللواتي قدّمن دعمهن لهذه المبادرة الإنسانية”.
و ما ان اعلنت أنس جابر عن إطلاق هذه الحملة حتى لاقت الشكر من قبل رواد صفحات التواصل… في انتظار وفود المدافعين عن غزة و الشعب الفلسطيني للتبرع لضحايا الاحتلال..
في ما يلي النص الذي نشرته النجمة العربية للتنس بلغة شكسبير:
I’ve seen the images.
I’ve watched the videos.
I’ve felt the heartbreak.
Children in Gaza are starving. Families are suffering. Entire communities are being torn apart ,not by nature, but by a lack of humanity.
I refuse to look away.
That’s why I’m launching #ServeForGaza ,a campaign to rally the tennis world and everyone beyond it, to raise donations and put pressure for humanitarian aid to reach those who need it most.
We fight hard on the court. But now, it’s time to fight for something greater:
For mothers who can’t feed their kids.
For children who deserve to live.
I’m asking you to help.
Donate, share, speak up.
Use your voice. Use your serve. Use your heart.
Let’s show the world that sport can be a force for good.
Let’s serve for them.
Let’s serve for Gaza.
