Cette enqu\u00eate a permis de r\u00e9v\u00e9ler que l\u2019\u00e9cart qui existe actuellement entre hommes et femmes en mati\u00e8re de leadership sur le march\u00e9 du travail, pourrait \u00eatre amen\u00e9 \u00e0 persister si les entreprises ne d\u00e9cident pas de faire de l\u2019\u00e9mancipation professionnelle de la femme leur priorit\u00e9. L\u2019\u00e9tude fournit d\u2019ailleurs plusieurs conseils quant \u00e0 la mani\u00e8re d\u2019encourager une telle \u00e9mancipation.<\/p>\n<p>Men\u00e9e par l\u2019IBV en collaboration avec Oxford Economics, l\u2019enqu\u00eate repose sur un sondage r\u00e9alis\u00e9 aupr\u00e8s d\u2019un \u00e9chantillon repr\u00e9sentatif compos\u00e9 de 2300 cadres et professionnels, dont une moiti\u00e9 est compos\u00e9e de femmes et l\u2019autre moiti\u00e9 d\u2019hommes. L\u2019\u00e9tude permet ainsi de mieux comprendre pourquoi une trop grande disparit\u00e9 entre hommes et femmes continue toujours autant \u00e0 subsister au sein des entreprises. Elle \u00e9num\u00e8re \u00e9galement tout que ce qu\u2019il convient de faire pour pouvoir progresser vers une plus grande \u00e9galit\u00e9 du genre.<\/p>\n<p>Parall\u00e8lement \u00e0 l\u2019organisation de cette enqu\u00eate qualitative, IBV a pu \u00e9galement r\u00e9aliser toute une s\u00e9rie d&rsquo;entretiens individuels avec des dirigeants et des professionnels pr\u00e9sents dans six r\u00e9gions du monde. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ces diff\u00e9rents entretiens, IBV a pu d\u00e9montrer qu\u2019au sein des entreprises sond\u00e9es, \u00e0 peine 18% des postes de direction \u00e9taient occup\u00e9s par des femmes.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00abDurant l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e \u00e9coul\u00e9e, le monde entier avait commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 s\u2019int\u00e9resser \u00e0 la question de la diversit\u00e9 et \u00e0 la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 d\u2019aborder une approche qui soit plus inclusive et qui aurait de fait des r\u00e9percussions tr\u00e8s b\u00e9n\u00e9fiques sur les r\u00e9sultats commerciaux des entreprises\u00bb<\/em>, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Michelle Peluso, vice-pr\u00e9sidente principale des ventes num\u00e9riques et directrice du marketing. <em>\u00abNous sommes d\u00e9sormais pass\u00e9s de l\u2019\u00e8re o\u00f9 l&rsquo;inclusion \u00e9tait consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme un simple ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne int\u00e9ressant qu\u2019il convient d\u2019\u00e9tudier, \u00e0 une \u00e8re o\u00f9 elle a fini par devenir un v\u00e9ritable imp\u00e9ratif \u00e0 adopter\u00bb,<\/em> a-t-elle ajout\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Malgr\u00e9 de nombreuses r\u00e9sistances, plusieurs entreprises ont tout de m\u00eame d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de r\u00e9agir. Baptis\u00e9es <em>\u00abFirst Movers\u00bb<\/em> par l\u2019\u00e9tude, ces entreprises se sont d\u00e9marqu\u00e9es par leur engagement \u00e0 vouloir instaurer l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 des sexes jusque dans les rangs de leurs propres dirigeants. Repr\u00e9sentant \u00e0 peine 12% de l\u2019ensemble de l\u2019\u00e9chantillon de l\u2019\u00e9tude, ces entreprises partagent entre elles toute une s\u00e9rie de caract\u00e9ristiques et de valeurs communes qui favorisent la mise en place d\u2019un environnement encore plus inclusif.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00abCe que nous avons appris des First Movers, c&rsquo;est l&rsquo;importance de fixer des objectifs mesurables et de d\u00e9finir une approche plus syst\u00e9matique de l&rsquo;inclusion. Cela signifie que l\u2019encouragement \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9mancipation des femmes devrait s\u2019accomplir de mani\u00e8re automatique \u00e0 toutes les \u00e9tapes, qu\u2019il s\u2019agisse de la phase de recrutement, ou encore de celle du d\u00e9veloppement\u00bb<\/em>, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Peluso.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019\u00e9tude fournit \u00e9galement quelques conseils cl\u00e9s pour instaurer, au sein des entreprises, une culture qui puisse favoriser l&rsquo;\u00e9galit\u00e9 des sexes. Les entreprises qui cherchent \u00e0 impulser un tel changement devraient mettre en \u0153uvre des initiatives concr\u00e8tes qui auraient un impact direct sur leurs objectifs de performance.
